Growth Performance, Carcass Yield And Organ Weight Of Finisher Broilers Fed Graded Levels Of Dried Scent Leaf (ocimum Gratissimum L.) Meal-based Diets
This trial was conducted to investigate the performance and carcass characteristics of finisher broilers fed graded levels of dried scent leaf (Ocimum gratissimum L.) meal based diet. One hundred and twenty four (4) weeks old broilers (ANAK) were used in this experiment. The birds were allotted into four treatments, each treatment had 30 birds which was replicated three times, with ten birds per replicate in completely randomized design. Diet 1 (T1) had no inclusion of dried scent leaf meal ( control), Diet 2 (T2) contained 2.5% inclusion of dried scent leaf meal (DSLM), Diet 3 (T3) contained 5.0% inclusion of dried scent leaf meal (DSLM), Diet 4 (T4) contained 7.5% dried leaf meal (DSLM
