This study sought to examine the decision-making process of trainee-teachers at the College to become teachers. A case study design was adopted using qualitative and quantitative data which was analysed using SPSS 16.0. The study sampled 527 trainee-teachers at the college for the 2016/2017 academic year. The findings revealed that teachers as role models, family support, the material benefits of teaching and love for working with children were also cited to reflect the background characteristics of the teacher trainees.
