The Jos Plateau is a predominantly agricultural area where the problem of low soil fertility has been identified as a constraint to crop production (Galadima et al, 2018). In the light of this, the study was done to analyse the content of phosphorus in the soils with the main parameters being the effect of topography and soil management practice. Standard analytical procedures were followed and the results showed that surface soils on the lower foot slope and depression had higher phosphorus content compared to the other slope facets with mean contents of 27.58 and 33.34ppm respectively. Distribution pattern showed increasing content going down the slope perhaps Download
