With a very dynamic business environments both in Ethiopia and globally profit making companies strived to exceed the regular market patterns. Finance sector in general and banking industry in particular played critical role to the speed and quality of diverse businesses. The banking industry in Ethiopia expanded both the accessibility and type of services after 1991 liberalization of the sector. Banks owned and managed by shareholders cover more than one-third of the domestic capital market in the last two decades.
