Is Utilisation Of Instructional Media The Solution For Improved Standard Of Education In Pre-tertiary Institutions In Ghana?
The process of teaching and learning tends to be abstract because of unavailability of the right instructional media and inadequate skills to use them. As a result of this, many learners who do well in examinations are unable to demonstrate practical knowledge of concepts that they have learnt. To do away with the era where teaching and learning become monotonous with the use of little or no instructional media, government must offer support for providing adequate instructional media and regular in-service training for teachers on how to combine modern teaching strategies with the former to enhance teaching and learning in all pre-tertiary institutions.
