HIV/AIDS has had significant negative effects on human existence across the globe. Sub-Saharan African region has been the most burdened for several years and continues to record high prevalence rate of the disease. Several research works have been conducted to investigate the influence of socioeconomic factors on HIV/AIDS epidemiology in the Sub-Saharan African region. Yet, the epidemic level remains very high on in the region. This calls for the need to examine how researchers conduct studies on the epidemic and to explore alternative solutions.
