Role Of Cassava Farmers' Cooperative Society Among Farmers In Orelope Local Government Area Of Oyo State, Nigeria
The study assesses the role of cassava farmer's cooperative society in Orelope Local Government Area of Oyo State, Nigeria. Multi-stage sampling procedures were employed to obtain the sample size of 171 for the study. Structure questionnaire was used for data collection. Data collected were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistic. The result of the findings revealed that the average mean age of the respondents was 45years and majorities (93%) were married while (90.1%) were male. The results revealed that loan/credit (100%), inadequate financial capital (91.2%) and farmer's information need (81.9%) were among the major factors
