A glasshouse experiment was carried out for 12 weeks to determine the effect of poultry and cow dung manure on tobacco growth and root knot nematode (M. incognita C.) attacking tobacco in Migori County Kenya. Three hundred grams of manure was applied per pot containing 700g of root knot nematode infested soil. There were four treatments: mixture (poultry manure + cow dung manure); poultry manure; cow dung and heat sterilized soil (control).
