This study examined the constraints of Small scale Pisciculture in Rivers State, Nigeria. The specific objectives were to describe the socio-economic characteristics of the pisciculture farmers and ascertain the constraints to pisciculture production. Data for the study were collected from a sample of 120 fish farmers administering structured questionnaire. Descriptive statistic and Likert scale were used in analyzing the data. Result of the findings shows that majority (63.3%) of the farmers were male and within the age bracket of 41-50 years (26.6%).
