Association Between Knowledge, Attitudes And Practices On Helmet Use Compliance Among Commercial Motorcycle Drivers In Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania
Background: Motorcycle accidents is a major public health problem in developing countries including Tanzania. Objectives: This study aimed at assessing knowledge, attitude and practices on compliance of helmet use among motorcycle drivers in Dar es Salaam Tanzania. Materials and methods: This was a quantitative cross sectional study which involved motorcycle drivers in Kinondoni Municipality in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. A questionnaire was used to collect information from 388 motorcycle drivers. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS version 24 computer software package.
