Unethical Behaviour In Personal Service Delivery In Nigeria: A Case Of The Hospitality Industry
This paper examined the association between unethical leadership and workers’ unethical behaviour in the hospitality industry in Nigeria. The geographical/survey scope of the study covers the South-South region. The sample frame and units of analysis consist of 274 chefs, potters, housekeepers, waiters and waitresses drawn from 187 hotels operating in the region. The data were collected through a structured questionnaire and categorized customers’ complaints found in the hotels’ suggestion/complaint boxes for a period of 20 months.
