Better management of forests; require an up-to-date data on various aspects of the forest including the vegetation composition, abundance and diversity. In many parts of the tropical areas, there is an absence of data and especially so for the smaller and often fragmented forests. This study determined the species composition, abundance and diversity in Nabkoi Forest. Sampling was done using 11 (50 m × 2 m) belt transects located in the forest. Within the forest, 12 grassland habitats (5m × 5m) were developed and subdivided into 1 m × 1 m plots.
