The purpose of this study was to investigate challenges teachers face in the teaching and learning of practical agriculture in senior high schools in Tamale metropolis. The objectives of the study were to; determine the attitudes of both teachers and students towards teaching and learning practical Agriculture, evaluate the availability of agricultural practical resources in the schools and examine the methods teachers use in teaching practical agriculture.
