Effects Of Personal Characteristics On Credit Access In Tanzania: Panel Survey 2014-2015
The paper looks at the effects of personal characteristics of Tanzania Nationals on Access to Finance. The specific objectives are to estimate the strength of the relationship between loan amount and age; estimate the strength of the relationship between loan amount and marital status; estimate the strength of the relationship between loan amount and sex; estimate the strength of the relationship between Loan Amount and the covariates of age, marital status and sex. Using panel Survey data of 2014-2015 the study concludes that there is a correlation between loan amount and age (R-squared 0.07); that there is a correlation between loan amount and sex (R Squared 0.09);
