The basis of every democracy is that the citizenry be informed enough to choose their own government. As most democracies around the world operate a system of government comprised of an Executive, Legislative and Judiciary branch, it is foundational to the democracy to keep the citizens informed on each of the branches of government, particularly the branch responsible for the creation of laws: The Legislature. This Research Project seeks to design and implement a Legislature-Electoral Base Information Circulation System for the Nigerian national context to achieve this very purpose of keeping the citizenry informed on the actions of their elected representatives.
