Cases of deviance among Kenyan secondary school students, in the form of bullying, strikes, drug abuse, absenteeism and other forms of deviance, are on the increase. Reports from Gatanga Sub-County Education Office (2012) indicates that while there are some schools in the sub-county that report very minimal incidences of deviance, other schools have never-ending deviant behaviours among students. This study, therefore, sought to find out why this is the case by exploring the relationship between school leadership and deviant behaviour among secondary school students in the sub-county.
