Drug abuse is not just a Western World problem but a global one. In Africa, the problem is becoming more and more rampant. In Kenya, researches continue to show escalating figures in the menace. Many media reports give a worrying trend in drug abuse. This research was carried out in Kitui County. The objectives were to establish the strategies used by schools to curb drug abuse in Kenya as well as to examine the challenges faced when dealing with the vice.
