Assessing The Level Of Beneficiaries’ Awareness Of Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty (leap) Conditionalities In Nandom District Of The Upper West Region Of Ghana
The Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty (LEAP) programme has been operational in the Nandom District since 2008 and it is excepted to reduce vulnerability among the ultra-poor due to its embedded conditionalities of which beneficiaries are supposed to adhere to. The study therefore examined the level of LEAP conditionalities awareness among beneficiaries in the Nandom District of the Upper West Region. Based on survey, 148 LEAP beneficiaries were selected through the use of systematic random sampling technique to participate in the study. Simple percentages and frequency tables were employed for the data analysis with the help of statistical package for social sciences (SPSS Version 21).
