The objective of this study was to assess the moderating effect of age on the relationship between the level of motivation and level of performance in the public sector of Ghana. A sample size of four hundred (400) respondents was chosen from selected Ministries, Departments and Agencies to present a reasonable coverage of the public sector. The research approach adopted for this study was quantitative method. Data sources were obtained from primary sources. Self-Administered questionnaires were used to collect data from the respondents.
