This paper is a study of the effects of ethical leadership practices and their impact on organization performance. The paper begins with the definition of the term "ethics" and what it means in its application on leadership. The paper then discusses on the characteristics and qualities of an ethical leader which enable this style of leadership to be effective. This is followed by the practices which an ethical leader should follow when making decisions and the impact of such decisions on the organization, the leader, the followers and the society. The paper concludes with a short summary of the unethical practices in Kenya and calls for the need for ethical leadership. Download
