Church–government Collaborative Initiatives And Their Effectiveness In Enhancing Climate Change Adaptation In Semi-arid Kenya
Climate change presents significant challenges in semi-arid regions, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa where livelihoods are highly climate-sensitive. This study examines church-government collaborative initiatives and their effectiveness in enhancing climate change adaptation in Tharaka South Sub-County, Kenya. A mixed-methods case study design was employed, integrating surveys (n = 133), interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis. Findings indicate that collaboration between churches and government agencies is active and complementary, with 96% of respondents confirming coordination.
