Globally, agro-pastoralism is a significant source of livelihood for a majority of people living in arid and semi-arid areas. In middle- and low-income development countries, agro-pastoralism is a substantial contributor to the economy of these countries. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate determinants of livelihood resilience among agro-pastoralist communities of Merka district, Somalia. The study adopted a cross-sectional study design while stratified random sampling was used to identify study participants. All ethical considerations were considered when conducting the study. The Resilience Capacity Index (RCI) of agro-pastoralists in Merka District was 38.84.
