Youth Enterprise Model To Guide Entrepreneurial Development In Zimbabwe
Although Zimbabwe is endowed with a wealth of natural resources in the form of land, minerals, human capital, forests and other tourist attractions, national planning is found wanting. Hence, there is high unemployment in the formal sector, and very few people are employed in the informal sector. In this sector therefore, Micro, Small to Medium Enterprise (MSME) owners cannot afford to significantly employ, train, or nurture future entrepreneurs. A critical analysis of literature was conducted through secondary research which disclosed how other countries support MSME operations. The findings indicated that some successful economies like USA and UK, offer substantial incentives to MSMEs.
