This study was carried out to determine the characteristics influencing Loan Recovery by Informal Credit Sources using Ubam groups as a case study in Cross River State, Nigeria. Primary objectives were to describe the characteristics of ubam groups, examine their credit delivery mechanisms, and determine the characteristics that influence the recovery of loans disbursed by the groups.
