Influence of parental educational level, locality of school, and gender on adolescent’s social competence was considered in this study. Eight hundred and eighty-two respondents were administered the Heimreich, Stapp, & Ervin (1974) Social Competence Scale (SCS) after the validation of the instrument Nigeria population. The study adopted 2x2x2 factorial design and Three Way Analysis of Variance for unequalled group size was used in analyzing the data.
