Rural area poverty has been a flaming case in Tanzania for many years. Many initiatives have been taken to reduce or end this problem. Regardless of all initiative which has been implemented rural poverty is still a problem. This has been revealed by a national Poverty Profile which indicated that poverty in rural areas is about 59% and 39% in urban areas. This study therefore decided to examine types of TASAF funded projects towards poverty reduction in Rombo district.
