The risk and pollution of our environment by polychlorinated biphenyls has become a global issue. Massive efforts are being made to identify hot spots and determine the impacts on health. This study evaluates the and level of PCB pollution of soils in the Central region of Ghana and the associated health and ecological risk. Soil samples were collected from twenty six sited in five districts and metropolis in the central Region of Ghana in September 2008 for ecological and health risk assessment of PCBs.
