The hardships being faced by victims of construction hazards in the industry question the level of compliance of building contractors with section 64 of the National Insurance Act (NIA 2003) and do not communicate any good news about the building industry in Nigeria. This study assessed the level of compliance of building contractors with the National Insurance Act (NIA 2003) with the objective of unveiling the real situation and attracting measures for compliance.
