Instructional media is one of the key elements in lesson delivery especially at the basic education level. This paper assesses the perceived level of competence of student-teachers as well as the general attitude of how instructional media are used by student-teachers in selected rural and urban basic schools in Ghana. Cross sectional and descriptive designs were employed to guide the study.
