This paper examined the environmental consequences in Adamawa State and conflict generating potentials between Nigeria and Cameroon resulting from the damming of River Benue at Lagdo Northern Cameroon by the republic of Cameroon. The data for the paper is derived from field work and content analysis of literature review.
