This study was conducted for the sole purpose of assessing the effect of sunlight on some physical and chemical constituents of sachet water sold in Port Harcourt with a view to determining the level of contamination through leaching from the sachet container during exposure to sunlight in the process of storage. The main focus was to check for changes in the physical and chemical constituents of these products before and after 72 hours exposure to sunlight.
