Testicular cancer (TC) is the most common cancer among young males though said to be rare in blacks. Morbidity and mortality from TC is high in low income countries due to late presentation, poverty and scarce resources for management. Early detection of the disease leads to increased cure rate (96%). Testicular self-examination (TSE) is recommended for early detection of TC.
