Survival Strategies Of Unemployed Nurses: A Case Study For Gwanda Provincial Hospital Graduates (2010 - 2013)
Gwanda Provincial Hospital is one of the two General Nurse training institutes in the region. It serves a population of approximately 13,423 including neighboring districts. Since it started training general nurses in the 90’s the Hospital has managed to graduate close to 900 nurses. These have been readily absorbed by the Government and the private sector, with some crossing borders.
