The study was conducted to examine the influence of parent on the reading culture of secondary school students. Seven research questions and seven hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. Related literature were reviewed base on the hypotheses. Survey design was adopted for the study. The population of the study was 22,759. Stratified sampling technique was used for the selection of the schools and simple random sampling technique was used for the selection of 1056 students who consisted the sampling population.
