The study investigated the problems of solid waste management [SWM] in higher institutions of learning in Nigeria and its impact on students’ health using Federal College of Education (Technical), Omoku, Nigeria as a case study. Research instrument consisted of thirty- three item questionnaire that were randomly distributed to three hundred and forty respondents from the college. Data collected were analysed using the modified Likert 4-point scale and analysis of variance to test differences in the mean response.
