Teaching Experiences And Qualification Types As Determinants Of School-based Assessment Competences Among Secondary Schools Teachers In Rivers State
The study investigated the extent teachers across different teaching experiences and qualification types show competencies in the school-based assessment skills. The investigation was carried out using descriptive survey in a 4x2 multivariate analysis of variance using data obtained from 525 teachers in Rivers State drawn by multi-stage sampling method(proportionate, disproportionate random sampling, purposive and accidental sampling method). Data were collected from an instrument tagged Teachers’ Assessment Competency Scale (TACS). It has 70 items and seven sections with the reliability coefficients of 0.81, 0.72, 0.89, 0.85, 0.76, 0.78 and 0.83 respectively for sections B-G obtained by C
