Knowledge And Self Care Pratices On Anemia Among Pregnant Women Attending Antenatal Clinics In Enugu State
Objectives: The aim of this study was to assess the knowledge and self-care practices on anemia in pregnancy among pregnant women in Enugu, Nigeria. Methods and subjects: The study was cross-sectional and prospective one. The tool of study was structured questionnaire divided into three parts: socio-demographical data, questions on knowledge of anemia and self-practices towards anemia. A total of 405 pregnant women participated in the study. Data was analyzed using SPSS software program version 16.
