This study examines the impact of political factors on the incidence of capital flight in Nigeria between 1970 and 2011. It employs both inferential and empirical approaches to test the effect of Selected political variables on capital flight index in Nigeria, using the residual approach of World Bank and Erbe version. The study relies on secondary data obtained from the Central Bank of Nigeria statistical bulletin, the Nigeria Stock Exchange fact books and IMF financial reports while the main instrument of data analysis is the E-view package.
