Trainee Teachers’ Knowledge And Attitudes Relating To Hiv/aids Education In Gbewaa College Of Education In The Upper East Region Of Ghana
The study examined teacher trainees’ knowledge and attitudes relating to HIV/AIDS Education in Gbewaa College of Education. Descriptive and correlation designs were employed to carry out this study. The sample was drawn using both stratified and simple random sampling techniques were used to select 150 teacher trainees. The study showed that majority of the teacher trainees did not have adequate knowledge in HIV/AIDS Education. It also, showed that the teacher trainees lack positive attitude towards HIV/AIDS Education. The study revealed a positive correlation between the teacher trainees’ knowledge and attitude towards HIV/AIDS Education. We recommend that appropriate training should be
