Attitude Of Physical Education Teachers In Implementing Physical Education Curriculum In Public Primary Schools In Nandi County, Kenya
Physical Education is one of the core subjects in the primary teacher training colleges. Perpetual neglect and low status of PE curriculum in Public Primary Schools aroused the interest of the researcher to investigate the attitude of teachers of Physical education towards the subject. The purpose of this study was to assess the attitude of PE teachers in implementation PE curriculum in Public Primary school in Nandi county. The sample comprised 1291 (383 teachers, 174 headteachers, 19 Quality Assurance and Standards Officers and 715 learners) drawn from five sub county schools of Nandi county.
