Food security have been found to be a good determinant of the health and wellbeing of household members especially the vulnerable groups. This study assessed the food security of women in rural communities of Ijebu Ode local government area of Ogun state. A multi stage sampling method was used in the selection of villages, household and then respondents used for the study. A total of ninety seven (97) respondents were recruited into the study, a structured questionnaire was used to obtain information from them.
