Econometic Analysis Of Cassava Production In Igbo Etche Community In Etche Local Government Area Rivers State, Nigeria
This study focused on econometric analysis of cassava production in Igbo Etche community in Etche Local Government Area, Rivers State, Nigeria, using descriptive statistics and linear regression analysis. The study was carried out in seven communities of Igbo Etche clan, using cross sectional data obtained from 102 cassava farmers applying multistage sampling techniques procedure. The results showed that 61.76% of the cassava farmers were females, 65% were aged between 21 – 50 years, with about 91.18% educated, 47.06% married, 74.51% had household size
