This experiment was carried out at Valley View University Agribusiness research farm to study the growth and yield of garden egg (Solanum melongena) using a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD). The seedlings were planted at four different spacings, 50cm x 40cm, 60cm x 45cm, 60cm x 60cm and 75cm x 60cm. The results showed that 75cm x 60cm spacing produced the highest number of leaves. Plant height was significantly influenced by spacing. Plants grown at a spacing of 60cm x 45cm were the tallest at the end of the study.
