Tourism has become an important contributor to the growth and development of many economies in recent years. The sector continues to attract increasing attention from researchers and policymakers in many countries due to its immense potentials for growth and development. This paper explores the determinants of inbound tourist arrivals in Botswana. The results of the regression analysis show that there exists a long run relationship between tourist arrivals and GDP per capita (proxy for income of tourist), real exchange rate, and inflation.
