Laboratories are potentially dangerous work environment, often containing a wide variety of toxic, flammable, corrosive and reactive compounds that can cause accident if safety standards are not adhered to. The objective of the study was to determine the level of compliance to laboratory safety in secondary school science laboratories in Kitui County, Kenya.
