Effective use of health services improves the overall health status of the populace. This community base study was aimed at assessing the use of health services and associated factors at the General Hospital Kolo, Ogbia Local Government Area, Bayelsa State, Nigeria. Descriptive cross-sectional design was used to collect data. A semi structured interviewer–administered questionnaire was used to retrieve information from 413 eligible respondents concerning factors affecting the use of services and satisfaction with quality of health services at the General Hospital Kolo in the past one year.
