This study is meant to assess and determine whether there is relevance in performance Contracting (PC) policy as practiced in its current form in the Ministry of Education in Kenya after several years of its implementation. The research questions guiding the study is; what influence has performance contracting had on overall performance at the Ministry of Education in Kenya?; what is the relevance of Performance Contracting as practiced in its current form at the Ministry of Education in Kenya?
