Information Systems Managed Inventory And Organizational Performance: A Case Study Of Joint Medical Stores, Uganda
This paper describes the relationship between information systems managed inventory and organizational performance. The researchers employed a descriptive, case study and correlational designs. Using a questionnaire, data was collected from a sample of 30 respondents from Joint Medical Stores (JMS). Data analysis was done using percentages, means, and the Pearson Linear Correlation Coefficient (PLCC) analysis. Findings revealed that the extent of using information systems managed inventory was high at JMS and that the level of performance was equally high. Correlation results on the other hand, indicated a positive and significant relationships between information systems managed inventory
