There is need to access safe water because of its implications on public health and quality of life. A multistage sampling technique was used to select 80 respondents. Data used for this study was analysed through descriptive statistics and logistic regression. The logistic results revealed that marital status have a direct relationship with willingness to pay for safe water and significant (p<0.05) while age (p<0.05), years of formal education (p<0.05), primary occupation (p<0.05) and secondary occupation (p<0.05) have inverse relationship with willingness to pay. The study concludes that socio-economic characteristics have significant effect on willingness to pay for safe water. Download
