Post Distribution Campaign Evaluation Of The Impacts Of Behaviour Change Communication (bcc) On The Usage Of Insecticide Treated Nets (llin) In Ekiti State, Nigeria
The study examines the deployment of the Behaviour Change Communication during the Free Distribution of Insecticide Treated Nets in Ekiti State, South West Nigeria and its effects on the ownership and usage of LLIN. Structured questionnaire was administered on a total of 120 respondents in randomly selected 2 political wards in 2 selected local governments in each of the 3 senatorial districts of the state. 100% of the respondents received nets during the 2009 distribution exercise and were not aware of any net distribution since the 2009 exercise.. 66% of the respondents no longer own nets while 34% still own, 5 years after the exercise.
